The 2019 TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Awards list of the Top 25 Hotels in Africa was unveiled just days ago. The list is predetermined by reviews made by travelers on the site after spending a holiday at destination hotels in the world.
Hemingways Nairobi listed among Top Hotels in Africa
Kenya’s Hemingways came in thirteenth on the list with traveler reviews such as “A wonderful first stop in Africa!” and “Day retreat.”
Mauritius took home the biggest win with Constance Prince Maurice being taking the number one spot with reviews mentioning their wine selection and service. Mauritius dominated the list by also having six more of their hotels listed making them the overall winner.
The Oyster Box from South Africa came second. Reviews on Oyster included “Weekend of pure perfection at The Oyster Box in Umhlanga” and “The Oyster Box is the best hotel.”
Overall South Africa had five of their hotels in the list including Cape Grace, Kapama River Lodge, One & Only Cape Town and Royal St Andrews Hotel.
Tanzania’s The Residence Zanzibar came fourth. The East African country also had three more of their hotels listed including Baraza Resort and Spa (5), Breezes Beach Club (16), Beyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge (24)
